Academic Collaborative Agreement with the Association of Thai Professional in America and Canada for Academic Development


CMU’s Professor Emeritus Avudh Srisukri, M.D., Vice Chairman of University Council and Acting President of Chiang Mai University accompanied with CMU’s senior executives including Associate Professor Usanee Kumprakob, Acting Vice President for Organization Quality Development, and Assistant Professor Dr. Nat Vorayos, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, welcomed a delegation from the Thai Association of Thai Professionals in America and Canada (ATPAC), led by Professor Dr. Methi  Wecharatana, President of ATPAC, during their visit to sign an academic cooperation and exchange agreement between CMU and ATPAC on August 7, 2017.

ATPAC is a Volunteer-based nonprofit organization in North America founded in 1991, through encouragement by the Office of Science and Technology Counselor (OSTC) at the Royal Thai Embassy in Washington, DC., with the objectives of promoting the advancement of scientific knowledge, technology, innovation and education in Thailand and serving as a liaison and to facilitate the cooperation between academic, government and business units in the US and Canada and related organizations in Thailand.
